Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve - Nkorho Pan & Elephant Plains

Nkorho Pan is a natural water hole in the prestigious Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve, in South Africa. Nkorho pan is named after Nkorho bush Lodge which gets it name from the Shangaan derivative for the call of the yellow-billed hornbill, a common and unusual looking bird from this area.

situated in the Northern part of the Sabi Sand Wildtuin, adjacent to the Kruger National Park.

Djuma Game Reserve - named from the Shangaan word meaning "roar of the lion" - is part of the world-renowned Sabi Sand Game Reserve. This reserve borders on the Kruger National Park. There is no dividing fence between the two reserves and therefore DJUMA's 7000 ha is part of the vast Kruger National Park ecosystem.

The view is that of the complete slope. Towards the bottom left of the picture you will see the bottom station of the 1km T-Bar Ski lift. To the left of the station you can see part of the beginner's slope and playground. The slope in view is 40 to 50 metres wide and approx 700m long.
