This tour suggestion is starting in Pretoria or Johannesburg. After spending some time in the Gauteng, the route is going eastwards to Nelspruit in Mpumalanga. Nelspruit is the gateway to the world famous Kruger National Park. After spending some days in the park the tour is going to Swaziland, the only still existing absolute monarchy on the African continent. From here the route is bringing us back to South Africa, namely to St. Lucia. From St. Lucia, from where you can easily visit the Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Park, the next stop is Eshowe, right in the heart of the Zululand. After another stop in Durban the route goes via Pietermaritzburg into the Drakensberg. First stop along the way is the Central Berg, followed by a stop in the Northern Berg, before the route is heading back to Gauteng.
