Biking in Southern Africa
Allright, the Tour de France didn't make too many positive headlines recently, but cycling is nevertheless a very prominent sport and mode of transport among people all over the world. The German town of Münster (270,000 inhabitants) actually has more bicycles than New York City (8,1 Mio. inhabitants) and I am damn sure that you can't imagine China without people on bikes.
One of the newest attractions in South Africa are socalled cycling safaris. Cycling safaris? Yes, you can explore Game Reserves and National Parks on a bike. And the good thing about it is, that many animals don't find the bicycles threatening. That means that you will see loads of game.
