7 Day Southern Tour
Tourbeschreibung & Buchungsformular auf Deutsch! »
Amidst beautiful Namibian landscapes, learn of the country’s history. Sipping a pint of local “sundowner” served on top of a Kalahari dune will definitely excite you on this trip. You will feel tiny as you stroll through the Quiver Tree Forest (Kokerboom). Travel to the second largest canyon in the world, Fish River Canyon. Just before Aus, you will stop at the POW camp and see the relics of the homes built by the prisoners. Visit the Garub waterhole and try guessing the origin of the feral horses. You can steal a glance of Diaz Point and if you are lucky you might see some playful dolphins.
Check out the museum at Duwiseb Castle. You will be surprised to see how majestic this castle still remains. On board a vehicle, travel into the heart of the Namib Desert and drive past towering sand dunes. At Namib Naukluft Park, you can expect to encounter oryx, springbok and ostriches. Walvis Bay will delight you with its flock of flamingos, pelicans and other water birds. Filled with interesting landscapes and historical sights, this tour is perfect to see the arid southern region of Namibia.

8 day Northern Namibia
This comfortable camping safari involves limited participation such as erecting and dismantling tents. Camping equipment is provided but guests need to bring own sleeping bags or take on hire from the safari company. At some of the overnight stops it is may be possible to upgrade to accommodation - please enquire at the time of booking.
The tents are 2-man dome tents having full mosquito netting with flysheet. A 6cm thick high density foam mattresses per person is supplied.
The tours are conducted in a minibus or land cruiser with a maximum of 12 people per tour.

7 day Tribes of Northern Namibia
This is something a little different from the normal safari tour, with the emphasis being on Namibia's cultural heritage rather than just scenery and wildlife. Although not visiting the most remote regions, it shows how these cultures are having to adapt in an ever-changing world. Having said this, you get a unique chance to explore Western Etosha, a part of the park that is generally off limits to most other travellers.
