Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe used to have the best infrastructure of the African continent outside neighbouring South Africa , but since the current political, and with it economic, situation came up, Zimbabwe is going down quite dramatically. Massive money inflation, migration of black and white Zimbabweans, the arbitrary land reform, political instability and the all countries of Southern Africa striking drought are making the beautiful country of Zimbabwe a hard country to travel through.

Due to fuel shortages public transport does almost not exist anymore, almost all hostels closed down (except for Harare and Vic Falls Town ) and not many travellers actually are making their way through Zimbabwe. Let's hope that it will change!
